Rhedeshia Young-Willingham has a degree from Ohio University, Wilberforce University and her Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. She joined the Ohio Department of Education in 2016 after she spent her previous career in federal employment and the private sector working with small businesses. She is an Education Program Specialist in the Office of Career-Technical Education and a member of the Administrative Field Services Unit. She works on the implementation and monitoring of the Perkins V grant in support of high-quality career technical education courses and programs of study. She currently is assigned to Career-Technical Planning districts throughout the state in the Northwest, Southeast, Southwest, and West Tech Prep regions.
