The software development industry utilizes many Agile practices to help manage development. Many of these strategies translate nicely into the classroom and provide opportunities for students to work in teams with higher levels of transparency and accountability. These strategies increase collaboration, communication, and can help scale large tasks into smaller, attainable accomplishments. Techniques to be shared include Story Card Wall, Daily Stand Up, 6 Thinking Hats, Paired Programming, Fist to Five, and project time estimation techniques.
